I’ve lived in western North Carolina my whole life, including my four years at Western Carolina University, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Management. Don’t believe me? Pick up the phone and listen to my accent!
I’ve been a REALTOR since 2006 and moved to Black Mountain that same year. I enjoy helping people through a process that has become familiar to me, yet can be very scary to some.
Helping a client find the right home and/or helping someone sell a home so they can move forward in their life is also an extremely satisfying part of my job.
In an effort to provide the best service possible, I earned the most prestigious designation a REALTOR can achieve – Certified Residential Specialist. It is the only designation that has both educational requirements as well as performance requirements and nationwide, only 4% of REALTORS ever achieve this designation.

Shavonne Wardwell
I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, but have called Western NC my home since 2005.
After starting my career in Property Management over 6 years ago, it felt like a great move professionally to become a licensed Real Estate Agent and add Residential Real Estate Sales to my portfolio.
I am passionate about helping people find their perfect home, get the greatest return on their investments and sharing my love for this part of the world with my clients.
Making the switch from working at a desk 9-5 full time to now getting to call the mountains of WNC my office has been incredible. It allows me to spend more time with my husband, two daughters and dog Jasmine doing the things we love. You can find us dining out at a local restaurant or hiking to one of the many waterfalls we are so fortunate to live near.
